One coaching note

Specific notes from the call.

The note covers goals, trade skill, motivation, logistics, and delivery. It names missed topics and the companies discussed.

Areas

Notes by area

Goals, trade skill, motivation, logistics, and delivery each get coaching notes.

Discovery

Missed topics

The coaching names up to 3 missed discovery topics.

Companies

Companies discussed

The note lists the companies discussed. Each company pitched is recorded with the prior-application check and its proving quote.

Delivery

Awkward phrasing, when flagged

Only when the grader flags a genuinely awkward construction does the note name the phrase and what it cost. Most calls have none. Filler words are not counted.

The scorecard

Discovery coverage and coaching scores.

The scorecard covers 13 named discovery topics. It has four weighted scores for goals, trade skill, motivation, and logistics, plus an unweighted delivery score.

Better questions

Weak questions become open questions.

For each weak spot, the grading shows the leading or weak question that was asked and rewrites it as an open one.

Example

Shift

Before“Are you okay with second shift?”

After“What shift works best for you?”

Example

Career goals

Before“Do you want to keep welding?”

After“Where do you want your welding career to go next?”

Example

Reason for leaving

Before“You are leaving for more hours, right?”

After“What is making you consider a move?”

What happens next

Action items name the owner.

The write-up ends with where the conversation left off and what happens next. Each action item names who owns it, including anything the candidate has to do.

Example

Recruiter owns the next step

Send the job details discussed on the call.

Example

Candidate owns the next step

Confirm the information requested during the call.

See team quality and where coaching is needed.

A team quality ranking compares recruiters by the average quality of their screening. Each recruiter’s quality page shows weak areas with suggested rewrites, plus their best and worst screens.

Team ranking

Four areas from screen notes

Open discovery of preferences, digging into skills, resume and date accuracy, and professional guidance toward best-fit openings.

Recruiter page

Weak areas, rewrites, best and worst screens

Each recruiter has a page showing their weakest areas, suggested before-and-after rewrites, and their best and worst screens.

Access

Set for each firm

The owner sees everyone’s screens. Managers named at setup see the team’s screens except the owner’s calls. Everyone else sees only their own.

Coached your way

Coached the way you coach.

Write-up wording

The firm’s owner can change how each call is written up, any time, in the app: the wording of the candidate profile, the conversation summary, the action items and the follow-up call notes.

CRM fields

Which CRM fields a call fills is set for each firm at setup and locked in code, so a change to the wording can never silently break a CRM write.

Grading

Managers decide what their recruiters are graded on: the topics, how much each counts, and the guidance behind them, and can change it any time.

Recipients

Managers choose who receives the coaching, such as a trainer or team lead, and can change it any time.
